Future of Social Media In Danger, Here’s Why!

I’ve been telling creators and businesses to build an exit plan before it’s too late. The way social media algorithms are evolving. There will be only a content engine.

No Influencer, No Creator, No Social Media business. What we would have left is an AI-controlled content engine.

That engine never gives a creator or business enough time to build that connection. Or brand messaging. We all are going to be affected by this. Me too.

Reddit Marketing; How To Find Clients on Reddit?

I Start with agreeing that most people even reddit users belive that getting clients on reddit is a joke. There is a common narrative playing out that reddit users are cheap and they hate self-promotion. But my question to them is most of the reddit searches are question and answer. How is there no one asking about their business problems that you can solve? I hope that answers your question it is possible to get clients on reddit.

Observe Redditors

The starting part of getting clients on reddit is observation. Reddit runs a simple model, there is no influencer. Users trust users, so observe the community and act like an user not an outsider.

You do that by analysing posts and discussions. If you don’t like reddit, it will be a little hard for you to observe how reddit users interact. But search the message in their replies to find what they are discussing.

The Reddit Wait

The Second part is waiting or creating opportunities. You can either wait to jump on the most suitable conversation to comment and attract clients.

Or you can create questionable and insightful Posts that either help you find new client conversations or the user finds your writing insightful. Once, they have consumed your content, now the ideal clients aren’t cold hearted reddit users. They are potential community members ready to buy from you when the time comes.

Never Pitch

The Third part is never pitch directly in comments or Posts, why? Because reddit communities are filled with different members with different interests. No one on the internet likes to be interrupted when you pitch in a post, you interrupt and piss them off.

That’s why never show your pitch at the top of everything in Reddit content. Instead, have a small ask like “if you are interested in reading or learning more, let me know”. Those who liked it are more likely to discuss further and will join you in sales conversation.

Using The Pulped

Fourth Part is to use Reddit Social Listening Tool like The Pulped. Tools like The Pulped help you with keyword research and setting up alerts for queries that might lead to a conversation or closing act of your sales.

Work Related Sub-Reddits

Fifth part, Join very straightforward subreddits to get client work.

Sub-reddits like  r/Hireawriter r/forhire or look at job boards of few subreddits, many communities like r/marketing have job boards to helo you find opportunities.

Or you can join money focused sub-reddits like r/entrepreneur, r/finance, r/consulting, r/passive_income. In these sub-reddits you will find businesses & entrepreneurs looking to hire you for freelance or Consulting work.

Never Miss Ads

Sixth, Reddit’s Ad Platform. Never miss an opportunity, most of the traffic to reddit is from google and online search. Meaning an old post lives forever. A targeted keyword has a post ranking on google. What’s your option to get clients off that? Well, you can run Ads for that keyword on reddit and show up whenever someone searches. Reddit is expanding access to their keyword Ads very frequently and broadening the keywords available to be targeted.

Content Creation

Seventh, Create Consistent Content on Reddit focused on lead generation. To succeed with content, it’s important you give more than you take back. That’s not even the hard part, the hard part is you need to create content in language and formats of the ideal sub-reddit where your client hangout. Because most brands fail with a copy-paste content approach. Again, tools like The Pulped help you with these content creation problems.

The End, Reddit is a long-term marketing strategy to get clients and business. I am eager to know, how you are trying to build client base on reddit? Always open to help and talk, reach me out on reddit. I am u/lazymentors on reddit.
